Yes. Many of our communities provide a reasonable commute to the NYC metro area. Buses run from the Poconos to NYC daily. On an average, it takes around 90 minutes to NYC and around 60 minutes to the Philadelphia area (depending on your region).

Real estate taxes vary based on the location in which you choose to build. Taxes vary by township and are calculated by millage rates. Many of our customers tell us that the taxes are much lower in the Poconos than where they were previously living . When you visit with one of our Sales Representatives, they will be able to provide you with more information. Keep in mind that property taxes may be partially offset by the tax advantages that often come with homeownership.

Build times can vary depending on your township, community requirements, and site conditions. While every site is unique, once all permits have been secured and construction begins, the average build time is approximately 9 months.
